Where Sage Brief started
Hi, I’m Brian, founder of Sage Brief. I’m excited to introduce something I’ve been working on for a while.
I’ve spent about ten years alongside creative teams and the people who keep their projects moving. Across very different roles, I noticed one simple but costly pattern: people often knew what they needed, but turning that idea into a brief the team could use took more effort than it should.
A salesperson may know the opportunity, the audience, and what a pitch deck needs to accomplish, but not the production specs. That is reasonable. Requesters should not need to think like producers.
That gap usually lands with the creative team. Someone confirms the scope, tracks down approved material, sorts out the dates, and finds the person who can approve the work. The deadline stays the same.
A better way to start
Most teams already have project management tools they like. Sage Brief is not here to replace them.
Requesters can speak, chat through an idea, add what they have, or enter details directly. Sage follows up, organizes the request, and keeps unknowns visible for the creative team.
The result is a structured brief the team can review. When a handoff is configured, the brief can move into the project process the team already uses.
Thoughtful creative work deserves a thoughtful start. I hope Sage Brief helps reduce back and forth, gives requesters a comfortable place to explain the work, and gives the creative team a stronger place to begin.
Thanks for checking it out.
Brian
